Construction Monitoring, Mapping and Inspections

  • Construction Monitoring consists of visits to a selected site to record progress that can be scheduled on a monthly, bi-monthly, or weekly basis. Deliverables from each visit can include photos and videos from various altitudes and angles and one non-survey grade orthomosaic map. A compilation video can also be requested at the end of the project.
  • Mapping packages can include 2D orthomosaic maps, 3D maps, and perimeter images. The drone used for mapping is the DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise with mechanical shutter and RTK unit.
  • Inspections consist of photos of the roof taken from various altitudes and angles to get an overview view of the roof and to detail roof slope, roof components, and any damage.

  • Feelin’ Fly Photography can work directly with any roofing company and/or any insurance agency. Drone roof inspections DO NOT replace traditional roof inspections, but it is the best alternative to use in the right conditions if the roof is too hazardous to climb.
